My husband has been trying to get me into digital scrapbooking for several years but the various specifically scrapbooking software I tried were a huge headache. In July I took a DSP class on Elements at the Grand Rapids convention and then did their crop - now I'm addicted though very much a newbie. It's frustrating to see all these amazing pages and not know how to do them but I'm learning little by little. I started with my brother's wedding pictures from last month. It's been fun because I've posted my pages in an album on DSP's site and even Beulah's family in India has been able to look at them and enjoy them. This is my favorite page I've done so far:

I am new to digital scrapbooking and am already becoming addicted. My first public post was a LO of my oldest son.

Here is my first post. I was inspired to do something special for my husband after he took our son on his first fishing lesson.

This is my first layout I did this week. I am definitely getting addicted now to digital scrapbooking! I hope that this is the right link. It should take you to Autumn in Alaska.

My first submision to DSP

I have recently joined the gallery...and have also recently spent a bit of money here creating a wonderful library of scrapping kits!!!! What fun! I have been using Scrapbook Factory Deluxe, but mostly use Photoshop for editing. I have only discovered the world of Digital Scrapbooking in this past year. I love it.

Beth,
I joined back in April, but have not used the forum, gallery or shop until this past month. So I just uploaded my first 2 layouts (to this forum, or any forum)
this month. To clarify, they are not the very first layouts I have ever created, they are just the first I have ever uploaded to a forum or gallery.
If I have misunderstood this thread please withdrawal my layout from consideration.
I have been scrapping at home on my own for the past year...and this is my first involvement with a group forum. So if this is thread is meant for those that are
creating their very first layout vs. their very first layout uploaded to DSP I am very sorry
The last thing I want to do it get off to a bad start now that I have discovered there is a whole world of digital scrappers to become friends with. That is so much more important to me.
Everyone here has been so wonderful and encouraging.

My First Layout and Introduction

Hello,

I'm Dawn and I was introduced to DSP by another member here. I started putting scrapbooks together when I started showing my Chihuahuas three years ago. Going digital is soooo much easier, but I still have a lot to learn.

So, this is my first try. I know I should have put in some credits. But, it took me long enough to figure out how to get this far. I promise to do better next time.

I hope I did this right.....

Cheers!
Dawn
