Need help with blinkie please

I need someone a lot more computer savvy than me to help me out here!

I've managed to make a blinkie using DIP10, and it looked perfect (yay!) until I saved it as a GIF file. Now I can't get it to do anything but display the first page. I tried doing one in PSE4 as well and had the same problem--looks great, blinks fine, then won't do it again after I've saved it.

So my question is, what could I be doing wrong at that point? The tutorials all just say something like "save as a gif and you're done" at that point.

And assuming I get that problem sorted, how do I move the blinkie from my computer to my signature? I know I have to store it on the internet somewhere--can I just put it in my gallery? And what is the code I will need to put into my signature?

I haven't made a blinkie but have you looked at this this tutorial? Toward the bottom it does have special instructions on how to save it. HTH -c-
