Arggghhh! Newbie in need of help!

Hi all,
I am totally at my wits end. Let me explain...I have had PSP 8 for some time now and was into creating tags and such so I learned a lot about it back then. I can get around fairly well in the program. I understand layers and all of that and love the program because you can do so much with it. I don't understand how to create picture layouts in it-like certain layouts that you can use over and over again. Templates. I know how to put in a picture but what if you want to have say 10 pictures and be able to crop but you want them all to be the same size. I wanted to create a Christmas Book with a layout for each year, and both mine and my husband's side of the family. Aggressive...I know. I've been trying to use PSE 5 to do it because the program had pre made picture templates already in it. I just created my second one, and the pictures are showing bigger than they are supposed to. It takes me 5 times as long to do it as it would in Paintshop because I know my way around the program so it's much more simple, but I do not know how to put 10 pictures in and then be all the same size. I hope I haven't confused anyone. Thanks in advance! I so need to get some of these layouts completed, since I still need to have them printed. Please help the Newbie before she loses it on this computer! Thanks again,
Angie

What I do in PSE5 is make a shape the size I want the pics to be and use that as a template to crop all the pictures. I delete the shape once I've cropped all the pictures.

Hi Amanda,
Yes, I had looked at that tut,but it doesn't address how to make multiple pix on 1 layout the same size. Thanks for trying to help though...I do appreciate any help that I can get.

Hi Guitar girl,
That is a good idea. I was hoping that you could make something where there was a "hole" that was a certain size so only a certain amount of the pic would show. I hadn't thought of this, and it sounds much more simple that trying to come up with a template. Thanks so much! I'll try this!
