My first posted layout! (but why is it so blurry?)

Happy New Year!!!

After months of playing around with Photoshop Elements, I have finally gotten up the nerve to post my first layout here .

I don't understand why it looks so blurry in the Gallery. I followed the instructions in the tutorials for resizing and uploading. The resized image looks great on my hard drive but after uploading it is very blurry with air bubbles in it.

I tried increasing the quality and reloading it several times until it is at the highest quality (and a bit larger than suggested) but it is still blurry. I also tried flattening the image as suggested in the tutorial, to no avail.

Can someone help me fix this please?

Thanks,
Lynn

This is my first layout - what fun! May daughter (javamama) and grands were visiting and she brought her computer with her. Didn't take long to get me "hooked" and of course, the grands helped with all the fun they had on a winter's day.

So this is my first layout posted here...and the first layout of the year I made this for my boyfriends mother as a bday present on Jan 1st.

I put a few different photo effects on all the pics and tried to retouch them as good as I could. Overall I think this is one of my best.

I have only been digi scrappin for a couple of months so I think this is pretty good. Take a look and let me know what you think...any feedback is appreciated

i should add, i used photoshop cs2 to make this, with optikVerve Labs 'fall colours' filter on the pics
SuzanneCWalker's edge flourish 2 was used on the pics
and Japanese Foilage photoshop brush for the edges of layout

Pics are from my october wedding, that is my step daughter making faces at us

Here is my first post...what a challenge it was to figure out how to save the file small enough! The tutorial did the trick and now I'm really hooked!

Here is my first post. I thought I would add an "Aussie" Christmas layout to all the wintry snow ones. It was a very warm day and we had a barbecue outside.
I added a sponge effect around the photos to blend in with the colour of the page. I wanted to have a bright yellow and blue page to go with the colours of summer. The only thing I am not happy with is the title, but once I added it, I could not work out how to change it.

I love digital scrapping...fun!

A newbie since January 08

Here is my first layout. Funny thing is, it trully is my first layout. I worked on two at two at the same time. I have only been doing DS for a week now. Well, I have been doing a lot of reading and this was my first try at layouts. This is overwhelming.

This is my first layout. I did everything wrong... I haven't read tutorials, I just played around. I only have this photo on my puter. I wanted Irene's add on to Shiny Glam set, saw the stars and figured this would be perfect for the picture of my son in Iraq. I cut out the part of the picture of his big gun (you can see a hint of it). I didn't think the gun would be appropriate for here. I have an old digital camera, but it only uses floppy discs so I can't put them on this puter. Have to get a new camera!!!

Wink First layout posted

Hi, This is my first layout that I posted.- It's of my new little kitten "Pepper". She came to live with me this week. She's so cute and funny.

I finally have a willing photo subject, which is lucky because I've become totally addicted to digi scrapping.

This is the first layout I up loaded here. I've been neglecting my scrapbooking lately and this place had some fun challenges I thought might help me get back in the groove of things.
