Hello and welcome to my weekly crop and chat.

Chat times: Friday 8pm EST (DSP Time)

Please join me for a fun, relaxed chat where I’ll announce the chosen kit for the weekly crop and all those participating in the chat will get a freebie, just send me a PM with the chat password and I’ll PM you the freebie link after the chat. We’ll also get our thinking caps on for my month long Themed Challenge - Oh My Word! I’ll give out the current weeks theme prompts – these may be in the form of a question, a single word, a comment, an idea or a muse. More information on this challenge can be found here. And if the inspiration takes you we can also start scrapping for this challenge.

The crop is really simply to follow, every week I’ll choose one of my kits to feature and if you create a layout with it and post to Erica’s Everyday Events gallery by midnight (DSP Time) the next Friday following the chat session, you’ll get a lovely free coordinating bonus just for posting – how easy is that!!

You don’t need to be at the chat session to get the posting bonus, just post a layout, but if you do you’ll get an extra freebie just for participating in the chat. Placing a link in the forum here is optional but to get the freebie posting bonus your layout must be in the Erica’s Everyday Events (EEE) gallery, that is where I’ll be checking names to send the PM to with the download link. If your LO is doing double duty please make sure that you upload your layout to the EEE gallery before the end of the current weeks challenge deadline, so I don’t miss you when I’m giving out the posting bonus. I’ll PM the link and password for the posting bonus to all those in the EEE Gallery after the close of the current crop.

So – to recap:

Participate in the chat for an extra freebie and some fun
Create a layout using the featured kit (this is available for purchase from the store)
Place your layout in Erica’s Everyday Events gallery by crop deadline
Receive a lovely free coordinating posting bonus (and remember – if you don’t manage to create a LO in time, all posting bonuses will be available in the store after the weekly crop)

If you would like some item or colour theme to be included in future kits you can post them here also, my aim is to make your scrapping experience special and I’ll do my best to meet your requests.

Just curious--what time is that in New Zealand time? Looking at my old cheat sheet, it looks like noon. Is that correct?

Darn! Can't make the chats as I get out of work at 9 on fridays, but I will certainly participate in the challenges. Traveling On is a lovely kit! Can't wait to use it.

Yes that's right 8pm Friday DSP is 12 noon on the Saturday for me. It's pretty difficult to meet the needs of everyone unfortunately and I've wracked my brains over this chat timing thing and this was the best I could come up with at the moment. I work FT during the week so it limits my time. I use a personalised World Clock and have Columbus Ohio set and it always shows the same time as the chat room - it's a great tool. I would love to be able to meet everyones need with this.

Great to see your designs here at DSP. Like Webfrau I had hopes that a Kiwi designer was going to get us a crop time for us working digi-scrappers down under - did you say Saturday - wahoo! That is one I should be able to make from time to time. Best of luck.

I might be able to come this Saturday - not sure yet. We're having an IT upgrade so no patients are booked and I don't think I actually have to go. Though there is so much paperwork piling up on my desk I might end up there anyway! LOL!
Officially I work until 12.30 but it's a rare day when we leave much before 1pm.

Sadly I cant make this first one, its Emilys birthday party, and I dont think I can get out of that one! lol! Another time though, I'll mark it on the calender! Have FUN!!

I couldn't find this chat on the calendar so I think I missed it. I thought since it wasn't listed that maybe it hadn't started yet. Ok I am confused...again lol.
