Hope that maid is still working for ya. Here are some sweets to eat while you are putting your feet up and watching her clean.

That is AWESOME! I love having above grade level readers. They do so much better overall if reading isn't a struggle for them. We do an A-Z reading level at our school. I don't quite know which letters go with which grades, but I do know that all of my kids have hit Z in 3rd grade or before and all 6 grades use the same system. Just found out that Josh (1st grade) was a Y when he was last tested. Are any of you teaching types familiar with the whole A-Z levels. I know they are above grade level, but not exactly sure how above grade level they are.

At any rate, that is awesome, Maggie, congrats to her!

Good thing you're not trying to bribe me. I hate strawberries. Even covered in chocolate.

Oh OK, if I'm voting, then here's a list of appropriate bribes for Rene: chocolate with no nuts, birthday or wedding cake with buttercream frosting (not that yucky whipped kind), salsa & chips, shrimp cocktail, chicken fried steak and of course anything pertaining to Capt Jack Sparrow.

Oh, GUNDI - NOT fair..

in the paper today.. A Texas Senator brought his DD's Flat Stanley -(who I might add looks like he has an Armani suit and a man bag... to the Texas senate floor at the request of his 7 year old DD..

So, this kids Stanley was on the senate floor and, was posed with many senators, reporters, and the senate clerk...

now, I ask you how do we beat that..

I was going to take stanley to see some trees that someone had put colorful knitted scarves on the trunks of them - (an art project near a museum).. .

wow.. not so exciting any more.. huh..

Find someone who knows someone and have them ask them to do something with Flat Stanley. Some have been in space with astronauts. We could have gotten Joseph's to go had Scott been going up, but he retired Too bad he's not around now, I could stalk his house until he took a picture with this one.

Stupid dog thinks he's a cat. He's trying to climb into the window and barking at the birds. He's going to fall.....

Renee....being a pirate who has had to do many onerous tasks for Captain Sparrow, I would surely bribe you with something Sparrowish -- I do know where he keeps his rum (shhhhhh....don't tell)

Those strawberries look amazing, but I, too, would much rather LOOK at them than have to eat them. :

Ah, but if I was bribing you right now, I would send you a beautiful spring day with temps in the 70s instead of this cold stuff we have right now.

Hmmm....I think I'd let you take my War Sloop out for a spin and we'd plunder the EITC together. Then you could take all the booty home, along with the billions of pictures you'd have taken for scrapping purposes.

If that didn't work, well I guess it'd be a lovely dinner at a restaurant.
