paper quilling

I received a snuggly pair of armwarmers for Christmas. The instant I saw them, the colors took my mind back to a framed piece my Grandma use to have hanging on one of her walls. It was a paper quilled stemmed flower my mother had made. (long since vanished!) I loved it and remember always being so fascinated by it.
Though I don't have any particular pictures in mind, I would love it if a/some wonderful DSP Designers would consider making something like this. Not necessarily a page kit, more like elements/groupies. I'm mainly looking for elegant swirls, stemmed & non-stemmed flowers, and sprays, but the possibilities are endless. My mother's piece also had pearl-top stick pins---for look and to hold some of the shapes.

If someone is interested in considering this, I'll do my best with a color swatch!

Thanks so much for looking!

Thanks, Kim!
Hi Christine...
Basically, paper quilling, also called paper filigree, involves taking thin strips of paper and rolling/folding/bending them into shapes, then using the shapes to make pictures/designs, such as flowers. It can be quite intricate and not-so easy! Supplies can be found in many craft stores. There are also plenty of ready-made quilled stickers and embellishments for paper crafts. I do not personally have anything to show you (perhaps Corgi might want to show us some of her handy work?!???), but a quick search of paper quilling in books brought up several.
Here's a link to some from that search (please not this is not an endorsement for any of the following products.)
linky and linky.

Hope that helps some.
I do have a few errands to run tomorrow, which include browsing a craft store, so I'll see if I can pick up something quilled to show.

Thanks again!

Here's a photo I found on google about it:

Now that I've researched it, elements in paper quilling or groupies would be AWESOME!!!
