I don't know if you guys want to hear all this, but I'll tell you anyways cause I need some grown-ups to talk to! LOL!
I went to my doctor on Friday and got more test results. My immune system is totally wiped out. They found Epstein Barr virus which is the main cause of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But the worst of it is that they found a TON more allergies.
So now, in addition to dairy and gluten, I have to cut out soy, rice, corn, oats and every other grain, nuts and lots more. The only things I can eat are meat, fruit and a few vegetables. Hopefully it's temporary, but how long is unknown. Until my immune system has a chance to heal I suppose.
I'll continue to get IV treatments and take tons of supplements, but it's going to be a long haul.
It's been a long journey getting to this point so I am grateful to finally be getting closer to feeling better. But goodness! I don't know what I'm going to eat! LOL!
So that's what's going on with me. I'm going to try to get some pages done today.

Bummer, Christy! EBV is tough. Yikes! they haven't left you with much to eat, have they? At least it sounds like you are headed in the right direction, knowing what is causing your troubles. Hang in there, girl.

Christy, for lack of some nice way to put it, that sucks! I do hope that having a diagnosis and treatment plan give you hope. You'll figure out some good things to eat ... you might start with some low-carb cookbooks to get some ideas!

Christy, I agree with Kathleen - that sucks! But at least you are seeing some improvement and hopefully the restrictions will be temporary.

WOW Christy - I hope you like meat and fruit!
Hopefully having a "plan of attack" will help you recover.

The Grannies have been truncated ...we are now only up to page 31!!!!! We had to get pruned so as not to break DSP ...Margie did the surgery very neatly and cleanly though , we should survive the operation!

Here's a freebie if anyone is interested.
To get this freebie, follow the link labeled Woodsy's Magic door in my signature line.
The freebie matches this Brand new kit in the DSP store found here.
