I guess I should say that I'm a 33 year old 3rd grade teacher. No kids of my own - but I've got 20 at school. The best part is I get to send them home to their parents after 7 hours!

Hey! If this thread really catches on, we might need flair! - of course the name is too long to fit on a button.

Ok...I'm really going to bed now...did I mention I didn't feel good today, but I still can't kick the DSP addiction.

hello! i can't ever be 30-something since i chose to stop at 28! but i'm margie, married almost 12 years, 3 kids, all adopted (it's like a hobby). of course my whole boring bio's on the team page under company, but there ya go, short version.
i spent a great deal of time here, okay, i live here and i'm SO excited to be meeting some of you in australia and new zealand this may!!
maybe call us the pre-grannies or something. but please, don't make this thread quite that long. the software techs are amazed the site can handle it!

just please don't call us GITs. I know what that means in British slang (git- Noun. An idiot or contemptible person.), and I don't want to be a git. Tho I am sure I am at times, at least the hubby would say so. ha.

Tina, 35, married nearly 16 yrs (together 19, High School sweeties), 1 kid (like you don't know that), Tate- age 11 3/4! Senior Designer here at DSP, and like Margie, you can find my boring info in the team bios.

Here's mine.

Hey! I just found this thread!!! I'm a 30-something as well...but no kiddies, no hubby. Oh, but I do have the giant bow hat on my avatar! And yes, it is the hat that Aretha Franklin wore when she sang at Obama's inauguration. Sssnoo found a .png of it and shared the link with the DET Alums...and someone put it on their avatar...and then someone else...and well, it is just one of those very silly and nonsensical sort of things that crack us up!

name suggestion (and I know people too):

A Spot For Us To Chat

and if we want flair we could be Spotties

or

Chattin' Hot Spot

(again, Spotties or Hot Spots)

LOL - I resemble that! If you'd have told me 20 years ago I would have a 4 year old at 40 I would have laughed in your face. But I wouldn't change it for the world!!! There's quite a few fun benefits of being an "older" mom

Yes, very nonsensical!! But it makes me LMBO, too! Which is especially good when you are immobile with a broken ankle and bored to tears!

(Yep, I'm going to milk this for all it's worth til the cows come home!)

You can't see it in my Aretha-tar, but my hat even matches my dress!

Hi,

I'm a 30 something soon to be 40 with two boys. Brent is 9 & James is 7. Both boys are on school holidays at the moment but I can't wait for them to start back on Feb 2.
