For all the Grandmas out there!!

Your Angel

Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born. The child asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow. How am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"

God replied, "Among the angels, I'll choose one for you. Your Angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me God, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And you will feel your angel's love and feel very happy."

Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"I've heard that on earth there are bad people. Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."

At that moment there was much peace in heaven, but the voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

"Her name is not important. You will simply call her GRANDMA."

I cannot stop the tears that have been building for weeks. I can't halp feeling that my beautiful girl Lindsay has already slipped through my fingers and is gone. I'm so afraid I won't ever get her back. And it's all my fault. The last 3 years were just so difficult and I wasn't a good mother. I wasn't there for her. And now I've lost her. I'm sorry, I don't even know why I'm typing all this. Please don't feel you have to respond.
Awww Jenni!!! You havent lost her, it is just a temporary glitch. Dont beat yourself up, I am sure you did the best you could, whether she listened to you or not is her decision, you can only offer guidance and hope for the best. Being away for a little while may improved her attitude towards you, I am sure she loves and misses you and the kids very much. Hang in there, sunshine ahead!!

Crap, Crap, Crap! Double Crap, Triple Crap! Just Plain Crap! Sorry I just had to get that out.

I was just getting ready to post a huge long multi-quoted post when FF CRASHED! I restarted FF and I've still got the multi-quote, but all my answers are gone. I was just getting ready to FINALLY go to bed!

So I'm NOT going to redo it tonight. I will save the multiquotes in Notepad and redo it in the am. Good night, sleep tight kids!

---------------
Then I lost all the multiquotes by copying the damn goodnite graphic!

David started kindergarten.. how time flies! I started scrapping to put together a baby album for him when he was born and now he is in school. So he called me this afternoon, I could tell he was excited so I first asked how he like school. He said, "grandma no I can't talk about that right now Something much more exciting happened today! I lost my tooth!" we had quite the chat about the whole losing tooth thing, he is very impressed with himself over this whole big event. lol. I asked him when the toothfairy was coming and he said "right now... I'm going to go to bed now" (it was afternoon) I asked him what he was going to do with the money she left. He said 'I think I'll buy a Camaro"

Vallie you would have been so proud of me today! I went out to lunch today with the ladies from Rotary as Hubby is a Rotarian and on the way home I made a detour and went past this old cemetery out in the country and took some interesting photos of old graves and one beautiful angel statue. It really made me think of you when I was walking along there, it is a shame we dont live closer or we could go cemetery hunting together!!
