Today DH went with Bia to the gym because I am still banned from aerobic activity because of my foot. As he was walking out the door he said, "You need to be dressed by 7:30 so that we can take my car to have the windshield replaced.

I said, "OK."

DH said, "I mean it. You need to get up now.......you know how you are when you get on the computer......if you are still in your pajamas when I get home, I am not going to be happy."

Me: "I promise. I am getting dressed right now."

Then I thought that I would just finish working on one little area of my layout.......time stood still..........the next thing I knew, the garage door was opening and I still had on my pajamas.

I BOLTED up the stairs, ripped off my pajamas, and threw on my clothes that were still in the bathroom from the day before.

DH walked into the bedroom and I said, "I'm ready. Let's go. I hope we don't wreck because I have not painted my face yet."

Oh the things that we do in the interest of marital harmony.

Ah Fran, there is probably not one of use who has not done this. It is absolutely fatal to think you can sit down at the computer and play around with something for just a minute or two isn't it? And men just don't get it!!

Making a mental note to complain to the manager about the anti-gun people running amok I did just as she had instructed.
When her hysterical shrieking finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to my credit card.

I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.

They really need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!

I am excited for you sands (even though in my photographic ignorance, I cannot appreciate the finer details) I am excited that I may get to see what you do with it though!

HERE IS WHAT THE WEATHER MAN IS CALLING FOR NOW...........

A strong cold front will move into the area today. This cold air will combine with abundant Pacific moisture to produce a prolonged period of snowfall today into Saturday. Snow will be heavy at times and will make travel very difficult.
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am MST Saturday.
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow remains in effect until 6 am MST Saturday.
  • Timing: snow will develop this afternoon or evening, and be heavy at times tonight and Friday morning. Snow will taper off Friday night.
  • Snow accumulation: 6 to 10 inches.
  • Impacts: snow may be wet at the onset, causing ice to form on roads as temperatures fall below freezing. Travel tonight and Friday will be very difficult due to poor visibility and snow covered roads.

Recommended actions

A Winter Storm Warning means a significant amount of snow is expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

When DH gets REALLY mad, he turns into a deaf mute......it's as if I have been ostracized............if he had seen me with my pajamas still on, he would not have spoken to me until 2020.
