This is the sock monkey game? I may need to get one for my nephew.

And guess what? Rutker did NOT act like he didn't know them. :

So, we left at 8 am, stopped for breakfast at 9 am, got to the farm at 1:30 pm, left the farm at 3:30 pm, went to KY. to meet CK's DS, DGDD Alyssa, DD and DSIL at a local pizza place for a late lunch/early dinner, got back on the road at 5 pm and arrived home a little before 9 pm.

About 7:30 I climbed into the back seat so I could lie down, as my hip was hurting so badly (even with 4 Ibuprofen :yikes) I thought I was going to scream. For the remainder of the trip, I dozed and chanted, "I am never doing this again".

This morning, all rested and back to my regular and customary low-grade pain, I thought, "Well, I guess I can do it again (and I know I will. ) if I just crawl into the back seat. Oh! The things we can do!
Is it time for a new hip?

My brother and DSIL leave tomorrow and the granddaughters and their parents will be here Thursday. I hope I can lighten my daughter's heart.
This is so terribly sad.

Lovely bread only has about 5 ingredients..flour, water, yeast , teeny bit of salt and maybe some honey/sugar !! Good for you JD !! How is Katherine doing ??
That's disgusting! I used to grind wheat berries in the Vitamix and bake all of our bread but haven't done that in a very long time.

Yum! Sounds delicious, Freda!

DH has been making this absolutely delicious vegan banana bread lately. I love it when I wake up to the smell of fresh banana bread!

That will be a good thing for the girls, I suspect. . . I know it was really hard on them when they lost him!
