Lora just flip in and out when you can. You will get an idea of what is happening by the quotes etc. And if you have missed something important someone will be happy to tell you. The best thing is when we meet in real life - our conversations just carry on from the online conversations, it is the most amazing thing and what makes this place special.

Me too, Abby, me too. This limbo thing is not good.

I am a Cancer (Moonchild) and a homebody. Once I am comfortable someplace I don't like things to change.

I have seen the end of some online homes that I still mourn. Luckily, a few have reassembled in F&*&#&$$k. Our original multiline, local Bulletinboard System, the old Teacher Room on AOL, even the ancient Print Artist Lovers (PALs) gang.

I hope this isn't the beginning of the end of The Grannies or that DSP doesn't fade off into the sunset.

Hi Grannies and GIT

I know I never have joined in before but I have started reading this thread to see if we are getting any updates on the changes at DSP. I guess it is still a wait and see.

Good Morning Grannies

Like Happy I have not posted here before today, but have been reading the posts. Usually this forum moves so fast It makes my head spin trying to keep up with what's happening with you ladies, but this weekend all of DSP has felt like a ghost town to me - very little activity anywhere. Now, maybe, this is just because people are busy being busy, but in the almost a year that I have been here I do not remember things being this quiet - EVER.

LauraLou - I am also a moonchild and do not do well with change. From day one here I was welcomed by everyone with open arms and encouraged to participate. I have never before been *social* on a website. Most are cold and impersonal, but everyone here have made me feel like this is family and this is home, so like you "I hope this isn't the beginning of the end of The Grannies or that DSP doesn't fade off into the sunset."

I noticed it was really quiet too this weekend. Weekends are usually quiet, but this has been crazy!

I've been on the computer finding ways to ramp up my skills. I've started feeling stale and now that I'm not DED for Erica, I feel I have the time to play.

I also edited most of the photos from my grandparent's 60th anniversary and finally got them up on facebook for family (only took my mom asking 3 times...) I still need to do some major editing on a few group shots, but most are good.

I agree with Abby and Rosie...."iffy" is not good. Things need to be made clear.

I have noticed that weekends are usually slow, but this has been almost eerie it's so quiet. I have to tell you - your layout for the Sunday Scrappers inspired me this morning - it made me go look for the forum, which I found, and every page in there is incredible! I'm digging around looking for a photo that I can use to give the tutorial a try. It just might end up being my lift for LDD.

I might have to think about joining facebook, although it scares me. My granddaughter facebooks, so I guess she could give me a few pointers on how to go about it. She could even be my first friend.
