Oh lucky you!! You will be able to sneak in lots of cuddles. Don't you just love that new baby smell? And then lots of time with Ryan when he gets home. Isn't being a Nanna just awesome?

Can't sleep. I was about to go to bed when I saw a mouse. They are a big problem in the valley but we were told they were not a problem in the campground. WRONG! What else can go wrong. We have been here less than 24 hours and I already want to run away.

Stacie has resigned. Not sure why her stuff is still in the store.

Yes. Handedness isn't involved, at least not with any research I have found.

@Karen: What a nightmare. OBT and I both gasped at the black water incident.
@sandygb: I can barely remember those first few weeks and the seemingly endless nursing. Liam sounds like a very healthy fella.

@karen: ewwwww. Poor Galen. Hope things settle down for you.
@sandygb: I love sweet baby smells. Enjoy your time with the boys.
It's award season here. DGD Avery got an award for Yearbook Journalism; DGS Evan gets his golf award tonight and graduates next Friday night. I am happy for him but sad at the same time. High school is the end of childhood. I missed DGS Bradley's band banquet last week; he has been named drum captain for next year. DGS Clay is in the art focus program as well as marching band next year. He is an 8th grader.
I am trying to make sure I have all the necessities in the house before I go to the hospital. Also gathering paperwork for DH; I got out my medical power of attorney this morning. He leaves everything to me so I have to pay everything before I go in for surgery. Sometimes I wonder if he even knows which bank has our joint account.
Off to pre-register at the hospital. yuck

Every time I talk with my DS, things get worse.
There is also cancer in her bone marrow, so she categorized at Stage 4. She actually has Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), the most common form of NHL. (non hodgkin's lymphoma) It is (can be) curable
She goes to see n ENT Dr. next week, because her nodes *are glowing* and they want to make sure there's not something else (also) going on. She has to have extensive heart exams, which is necessary before chemo.
She will have a port put in, in her chest. Her chemo treatments will be 8 hours long and she will have 6-8 of them. There will be 3 weeks off between treatments. The treatments will most likely make her sick and she will lose her hair.
All we can do is pray..........pray..........pray..........pray.
