I know what you mean Sandy - I have 720 books on my kindle mostly free and a cousin has given me another 2000. I am reading about 3 books a week at the moment.

I do to after DH got caught one time. He raced into the toilet to do the really serious stuff and went to do the wipe and there was no paper. He checked in his wallet and found his drivers licence (they used to be a paper version) which he used.
This story ended when he was asked to pull over for a police licence check - they had a real chuckle when he told them why he wasn't carrying his drivers licence.

How does someone "give" an ebook? I would love to send on the ones I have read to one or the other of my kids...even my granddaughters who have a B & W Kindle.

I like the free-standing roll holders you can move around to where you want it. I don't have one, but I think it is a perfect solution if I ever remodel.

Since I am more than halfway through the first book, I think I will take time to watch some of the series today. I am curious as to whether my vision of the characters is anything like those who cast and created the TV versions. I always read the book before watching a movie or TV series from a popular book...Harry Potter, Twilight, Hunger Games, 50 Shades.

Good morning dear grannies!!!!! I cannot play today because I have too much STUPID Western Civilization to read and I have to go to the grocery store. I found a new recipe I want to try.........
Blow your MIND" Tomato Basil Pasta! - No Straining, just Stirring
Pasta, Tomatoes, Veggie Broth, Olive Oil, and Seasonings (details below)
Throw it all in the pot, INCLUDING the uncooked Pasta, and cook! - Bring it to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. The starch leaches out of the pasta and makes a rich, warm sauce for the noodles. The other ingredients cook right along with the pasta
Ingredients
12 ounces pasta (I used Linguine)
1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes with liquid ( I used zesty red pepper flavor)
1 large sweet onion, cut in julienne strips
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
2 large sprigs basil, chopped
4 1/2 cups vegetable broth (regular broth and NOT low sodium)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Parmesan cheese for garnish
Directions
Place pasta, tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, in a large stock pot. Pour in vegetable broth. Sprinkle on top the pepper flakes and oregano. Drizzle top with oil.
Cover pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a low simmer and keep covered and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or so. Cook until almost all liquid has evaporated – I left about an inch of liquid in the bottom of the pot – but you can reduce as desired .
Season to taste with salt and pepper , stirring pasta several times to distribute the liquid in the bottom of the pot. Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese.

Only one place to hang it in our teeny bathroom - right in front.
