@sandygb: I love sweet baby smells. Enjoy your time with the boys.

It's award season here. DGD Avery got an award for Yearbook Journalism; DGS Evan gets his golf award tonight and graduates next Friday night. I am happy for him but sad at the same time. High school is the end of childhood. I missed DGS Bradley's band banquet last week; he has been named drum captain for next year. DGS Clay is in the art focus program as well as marching band next year. He is an 8th grader.

I am trying to make sure I have all the necessities in the house before I go to the hospital. Also gathering paperwork for DH; I got out my medical power of attorney this morning. He leaves everything to me so I have to pay everything before I go in for surgery. Sometimes I wonder if he even knows which bank has our joint account.

Off to pre-register at the hospital. yuck
Good luck with it all Rosie.

She goes to see n ENT Dr. next week, because her nodes *are glowing* and they want to make sure there's not something else (also) going on. She has to have extensive heart exams, which is necessary before chemo.

She will have a port put in, in her chest. Her chemo treatments will be 8 hours long and she will have 6-8 of them. There will be 3 weeks off between treatments. The treatments will most likely make her sick and she will lose her hair.

All we can do is pray..........pray..........pray..........pray.
It sounds very harrowing treatment. My niece decided to stop her chemo as she couldnt stand it so I hope things go ok.

We always put dryer sheets in our tent camper over the winter to repel the mice. It seemed to work....we also put traps in there and don't think there were many caught.
