Multiplicity 3

MULTIPLICITY is a challenge we will be running a few times a year - and it works similar to the "design with me" or pass the pixel challenges!!!! This time there will be FOUR DESIGNERS designing kits that coordinate!!!!
THAT means FOUR finished kits in the same color scheme, in the varying styles of the different designers! AND, at the end of the challenge, we'll have random draws to give away some of the kits FREE to those who participated! But you have to play along to have a chance! But don't worry if you don't win ALL THE KITS WILL BE IN THE STORE AFTERWARDS!!!!

Here is the MULTIPLICITY GALLERY! So you can watch the designs grow!!!!

So what do YOU need to do??? GREAT QUESTION!!!!
Look at the color scheme below and think of a theme and some backgrounds that you know would be great for it - and make your suggestions!
The participating designers will be your "challengees" and we are all going to create using your suggestions and the same color scheme. Who knows what we'll pick? We might even all pick the same thing - and make it different ways - which will be fun to watch.

Who's your DESIGN TEAM????
Lauren, Carole, Heidi and Nicole (that's me!)

Are you ready??? Subscribe to this thread or check often for updates! Here is the color scheme for this round of MULTIPLICITY. Let's see your suggestions for backgrounds first, and theme ideas if anything strikes you - and after we get a couple of backgrounds done we will take element suggestions too!

WOOHOO! I love Multiplicity! Great color scheme. Let see...
The light green with darker green grunge.
how about a polka dot paper, but with small spaced out dots in the different color, then kinda scuffed up.
or stripes, again spaced out and then scuffed up, kinda grungy looking

Is it too early to think Christmas?-these colors would make a fun whimsical page kit.

Looks like fun!

The dark purple/brown with grungy and delicate swirls in the hot pink and/or greens.

The two greens in a grungy and roughed up polka-dot pattern, maybe with some flecks of the purple (far right color).

Mostly the orange color in a subtle wash, maybe with some of the green underneath.

Whenever I see a purple, gold, green combination, I always think Renaissance. Don't know why, but that's what I see.

love the color scheme!!!!

I like the idea of tone on tone for the papers (greens together, purples together). Maybe using patterns like swirls; floral designs in corners; circles or polka dots; stripes; harlequinn; grunge.

For the orange, maybe it could be a heavy brushed linen texture with specks of the light green on it.

Maybe a purple background with paisley pattern in the other colors, a green background with the light green swirls?

When I see these colors, I think of raspberries, Pomegranates, a trellis of ivy, and the curls of a pumpkin vine!

I'm always so impressed to see what wonderful designs you create!!

I had to think why those gorgeous colors made me think of the Renaissance, and I think it's because of a Christmas Madrigal performance and dinner that is held in a castle here. The colors they use are rich and opulent. Gold and velvet...

Got a background done from Kathleen's suggestion of green polka-dot grunge!

That's probably all I am making for tonight! But I will be back tomorrow for more suggestions!!!

You are all so amazing ... the designers for what you are able to create and the rest of the DSP community for thinking up things for them to design. (I can barely get past "green paper" as my suggestion!)

Gorgeous colours! I'm really seeing fruits, nighttime, magic...hmm. For paper ideas, maybe the indigo with cream swirls, purple and orange in harlequin pattern, hmm that's all I can think of right now
