Build a Goodie (BAG) 2010, #2

Hey all!! Welcome back to a new version of BAG. So do you want to be a BAG lady or BAG man? (I will see what I can do about coming up with a flair for the new year) We are going to change things up a bit! We are going to build the kit together and at the end I will pick some random winners (at least, 2 but more if I get lots of participation. ) and they will get the completed kit for free!

Last time I couldn't decide between 2 color swatches, so we did the pink one last time and here is the 2nd one for this new kit.

Let's hear some BG ideas!

Oh YAY!! I love to BAG!! It's so much fun!!
And of course since these colors come from my son's love of the blue and green Froot Loops, I'll really enjoy this one!
It's obviously difficult to know the direction or personality this kit will take right now so I'll just throw out a few different backgrounds...
-a kinda mottled one---like the Froot Loops in the picture
-a paisley
-a scratchy one---tone on tone, light with darker scratches
-a striped one---the darkest background with varied stripes in the other colors
-one with a tiny grid paper look--but faded out in spots

Brown backgroung crinkled up with some bue or green polka dots
The two bottom colors combined in one like someone took a spoon and swirled the two colors together (is that even possible)
The top blue with some dirty brown streaks on it
Maybe the brown in a way that looks cardboardy and bent up

brown, blue and green are my favorite colors

grungy graph paper
stripy paper to mimic the pink one from Sweet Affections
dotty paper, maybe the dots are circles this time, with holes instead of solid
a rough worn edge paper, that doesn't quite fill the whole page

I'm so bad with background suggestions, but I really like the fruit loop looking paper suggestion! And the swirled together suggestion, that looks really cool in my head! I LOVE these colors, BTW. Looking forward to seeing the papers, then I can add my 2 cents for Embellies!

How about one using 2 of the colors and make a kind of diamond pattern in muted tones?

I'm glad you told me they were froot loops because I thought they were donuts. I was thinking, I don't want to eat a lime green donut.

I like the swirled idea, like wet swirled shiney paint.

I'm very excited about these colors! I can't wait to see what you do!

I actually saw a woman with a sweater in similar colors, except hers also had brown and white added in. It was sort of rows of diamonds, each row a different color. When I saw it I thought I'd love a kit made from it.

I also saw a sweater in similar colors at Old Navy today in kind of an argyle pattern.

So those are my suggestions a paper in a diamond pattern or an argyle. . .

oh and lookie, lookie

You can right click on it to save and add to your flair card if you want. And if there is anybody who wants to be a BAG man, just let me know and I will make sure we've got you covered.

Here's 3 papers so far. Keep the suggestions coming. I will probably do the stripes and some of the other suggestions too, but we need some more muted papers or you will end up with one BUSY page
