I now have windows 7 which was upgraded from Vista. I can't seem to figure out how to install fonts. free or purchased.
when I go to my font folder, they don't show up at all. I've even tried using a seperate folder.
any ideas or hints for me?

1. You can download the fonts for Windows from anywhere you like. If its in zip format then unzip it.

2. Right Click on it and then Click on Properties.

3. Under General tab you`ll see a Unblock Button, Click on it (Ignore this step if there is no Unblock button.

4. Now for installing you can either Double Click on the Font and Install it or you can drag and drop the font here "C:\Windows\Fonts"

There's also a font option in the Control Panel. Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts. Once there you can paste fonts in with the list of all the others you already have there.
