I am SOOOOOOOOOOO Excited!!!

I love Impulse shopping...the other night a friend called and we were talking about the scanners out there that scan photos and/or slides. We checked out a site online and I found a portable scanner for 4x6 photos. I have been thinking about it for awhile but someone always changed my mind. Well,,,I sent for it. Got it today and it is AMAZING....6"x2" and scans 4x6 photos. It takes 2 seconds....REALLY, 2 seconds for a photo.... and The quality is perfect. In fact on afew they are better than the origional. You scan to a Memory card or to the computer...comes with a USB cord. It scans at 300 DPI. I am soooooooooooooooo excited...I have thousands of photos to scan. Now I can get comfy and zap them right on through.

Good news, Ande! I wish my scanner only took 2 seconds per photo.

Great tip, thank you! I've been looking for a way to get my slides into the PC and had no idea that slide/negative scanners were available to the public.

Scan Snap by Fujitsu works exceptionally well also. Very quick to scan. Photos look fantastic. The best part is you can set it up for document scanning to for household office use. I use it to scan signed documents and send via email. Also scans receipts and a host of other documents for filing. ... But of course... pics is probably what everyone really wants.
