Getting fonts in proportion to page

I am doing an album in 12 x 12's. I'm having difficulty being able to tell if my font size is big enough. Is there any way to tell...I've tried printing it out in 8x 8's and that looks fine but have no way of telling about the 12x12's. Is there a trick I don't know about??

If it's fine on an 8x8 it's definitely legible on a 12x12. Only issue is if it's too big, and I'll tell you when looking through albums it's hard to get too big on journaling text. Sometimes our albums are so full of eye candy it's almost an assault, and stopping to read is daunting. I journal in 12-18, or even up to 24. Subtitles are much larger

I'm the same as Emma...generally 12-18 for journalling as it depends on the font style.

Hi Emma! I haven't talked to you in a long time...Here's a couple of pages: http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com...edding&cat=500 which I think the font looks a little small... I used Windsong Med. I bought it....http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com...-album&cat=500 On the father of the groom I used a font of 45 and on the preparation 36...On the one with the rings I used 85 on the word Day... also here's another one in which I posted the fonts and sizes I used (Windsong 36) and Century Gothic 30. I didn't think I should go any larger...What's your opinion?

I think those font sizes are jsut fine. They could go bigger, but they don't have to.
