To all my fellow newbies in the NKOTB19 - well done all your layouts in the gallery are really lovely we are all off to a great start I would say..... This has been very challenging for me personally but I have loved the CC and the challenge of working things out... It has been frustrating but good all at the same time I hope you all have enjoyed this round looking forward to whats up next..... Happy Mothers Day to those in OZ today its Mothers Day xx

Oh, I just noticed that I have a change too! To all who have commented on my layout, I have to say, thank you so much. Some comments made a lot of sense, but most of them I just plain don't know how to do since I have never taken a digital scrapbooking class and this is my second layout ever. But I do thank you for all the nice comments and suggestions. I'll get better without a doubt! I already know something that I want to work on more.... alphabets, word art, fonts, etc. Nothing much of what we had to use just seemed to fit me right (not that I'm complaining, they were lovely and very generous and I thank those who donated them!) but I have to work hard to be creative if the creative bug doesn't bite me just right. Sigh.... my burden to bare.

I also want to say a special thank you to those at BINGO last night who gave me so much encouragement. Without that, I think I might have quit. But thanks to you, after BINGO was over, I went on to work on the layout for 6 more hours to get it "finished" and put up. Now I'm off to see if I can figure out the extra challenge. I have a little less than 2 hours to get it done! :

You're so welcome Cookie! Please, if there's something you want to know how to do, PM me and I will make you a tutorial. Maybe not the same day, but within a couple of days. Also, there are a lot of tutorials here. NKOTB is supposed to be about learning...the site, the programs, the process, all of it. Ask questions. and if you want to try some of our suggestions on your layout, please do. just because the round ends it doesn't mean that the layout has to be considered finished. You can change out the wordart to something that works better for you for your personal copy.

Glad you said that Mars, as I only finished my final version the night before it was due.... so much to learn and absorb feel like a real dork..... BUT I also work full time and have a busy family life. SO I THINK I do quite well in the first place, NOT that I am quitting but I did find it a bit full on and a lot frustrating. but I wont GIVE up for sure. but makes you feel human when you read something like you write that.... gives me hope... thanks so much for the support xxx

Just wanted to thank everyone for your comments on Our Boys Rock. I had a lot of trouble with this one. First I used the wrong kit. Then I accidentally flattened the .pd file so I've been able to fix the star, move the signature.... but there is nothing I can do with the journaling at this time without redoing it all over. But hay, I learned a lot and thank you for the comments.... I'll keep it all in mind for the next round! I'm learning and that is why I basically did NKOTB, besides the fun!
