Lucky Double Dips - May 2012
Erica and I wanted to simplify this challenge a bit so we're changing it up!
Lucky Double Dips is now a BOGO challenge with a twist. You buy the add on pack and get the kit for free! How cool is that?!?
How is it going to work? First, you get to vote from 3 colour schemes of my choosing during the last week of the month. Then Erica will design the add on pack and get it in the store for the start of the challenge month. You buy the add on pack and create two layouts according to the rules below. Then once you have created those layouts, I will send you the coordinating page kit! Vote, buy, create x 2, and receive! That's pretty easy!
Now, about those layouts. You need to create two layouts following the below set of ‘rules’
1. One layout you create must be a scraplift of one of my Erica layouts. You can find them here. Don't forget this layout can also work for Scraplift the DET!
2. The other layout must use only the Bright Fiesta Add On Pack (other than your choice of wordart or alpha). You may recolour or otherwise get creative with this layout so long as it is still recognizable as being the AOP. At the end of the month, Erica will choose the layout that she feels is most creative for special recognition with a store coupon!
3. Place your LO’s in DET Inspired Gallery unless it’s doing double duty elsewhere. I will need a link to your LO in this forum no matter where your layout is housed.
4. Complete both layouts by May 31.
Some really simple rules:
- Please use only Erica's products (other than wordart or alphas).
- Please put your LO in the DET Inspired Gallery if possible and link it in this thread
- Please comment generously on other member’s layouts in this challenge. I know I don’t really need to ask you that because you’re all so good at it anyway.
- Have FUN
If anything is not clear please just ask any questions her.
Here is the AOP that you get to use:

And here is the awesome kit for your posting bonus!

Hi Addie,
On Rule Number One where we are supposed to scraplift one of your LOs, do we, or don't we, have to use Bright and Breezy AOP? We can use another kit? Or we should use parts of Bright and Breezy AOP, but can add other Erica things? It makes a huge difference on the Lo to scraplift - if there is no round frame in the AOP, doesn't that exclude all your LOs with a round frame? Or am I being too literal on the scraplift part?

Hi Suzy!! Glad to have you here!
For layout #1, you can use any of Erica's products. You are not required, but are welcome, to use the Bright Fiesta AOP. And yes, for a scraplift, you are being to literal. You can take any inspiration you want from one of my layouts so long as it is relatively clear what the inspiration was. It could be colour scheme, layout design (with different colours), title style, subject matter, etc.
Does this mean you're going to play? I'm so excited!

Fun challenge! I'll do my best to find a little time to scrap this month. Babe and the kids are keeping me busy, busy, busy!

Yes, I'm going to do it - I just have to decide which of your LOs to choose!
I had tentatively chosen this one because it has square frames like the Bright Fiesta AOP, but now I see the world is my oyster and I can pick anything and will have to go back and look through your gallery again...although I do love this LO..maybe I'll stick with it..
I wish my dog would stand up like Patch - it's very charming!

Story Time
Now for the second part... off to go and choose a layout of addielee's...

So sorry for the delay! I have been so crazy busy I've hardly had time to breathe. I didn't even turn on my laptop at home yesterday. I will fix the link soon, but in the meantime (since I can't from my phone), do a gallery search for 'addielee Erica'.
