Online programs?

This is probably an odd question (or in the wrong area), but here goes:

I need a program I can use that doesn't require installation. I have several hours to fill at my job (working security has a lot of down time). I have access to a computer, but it is an older one and I can not install anything on it. I can download images and kits, but I am not allowed to install any kind of software or programs on the computer at all. The only graphic program on the computer is Paint, which I have not had any kind of luck with. Does anyone have any suggestions? I might be able to run GIMP off a flash drive if that is my only option, but I have no experience with it. I'd really like to be using my time at work constructively

I'm no help, but I'm sure some of the guru ladies here can help. I would think that possibly GIMP could be run from flash.

Is Microsoft Word installed on your computer? I've heard of people being able to make layouts with it - you can layer and crop images, add text, etc. It just doesn't have all the bells and whistles like transparency support and fancy editing with magic wands and photo adjustments.

I was going to suggest PowerPoint or Word as well.

Excellent ideas! I would never have thought of Office type stuff! I'll see if I can make it work.

How about Pixlr Photo Editing Services online. When I'm at work and need to do something in a Photoshop friendly feel I use this online site; I can't install software either.
The one bad thing I see is, it won't save in a Photoshop format.

Here's the link.
