Printing idea for 12x12

I was just at another site and read a sample newsletter. She has a great idea for printing 12x12 pages. She suggests reducing them to 8x8 and printing them on 8.5x11 photo paper and trimming. I think this is a great idea for Grandparents and Children's albums. A smaller size album makes them easier to handle and being able to print them at home keeps them affordable. I also love the brag book idea, printing the pages even smaller so that you can fit two scrapbook pages per 8.5x11 page. Wouldn't it be great to be able to take your scrapbook albums with you everywhere you go? You could fit them into your purse or in my case, diaper bag, and be ready to show them anywhere. Anyways I am excited about this idea. Everybody will be getting brag books for Christmas now!

sounds like a good idea but I'm still stuck on finding a place to print my 12x12 pages...stuck in a small town so I may just have to print 8.5x11..

I print 12x12 at Costco. I make my pages 12x12. Before I create a jpg, I change the canvas size to 12x18. In the empty bottom part I put two 6x6 versions of my layout. I upload the 12x18 jpg to Costco and they print it in an hour for $2.99. I end up with a 12x12 for me and two 6x6 copies for the Grandmas.

Hello all...I'm very new to this so this may sound like a stupid question but...what's the best way to print out your digital pages...is it using your own printer or finding someone else to do it????
