The bird was actively hunting and caught a couple of mice right in front of me...what a sight. Yes, his eyes are actually red. I used a couple of non DSP textures for the overlays and frame. The contrast in their colors is so striking. BG is a non-DSP texture. The road to the Haunted House

Designer and/or kit name only.): Halloween is by far my favorite holiday and I love to decorate my house like a "haunted house" with a graveyard in front. My house is known as the "most scariest house" in the neighborhood. It's so much fun to have the kids come to the door exclaiming that "you have the best house ever" All the ghosts, and decorations are from my yard. The vulture .........(thanks Goshiki for the inspiration to use a vulture) was from a local lake and the moon is from a pic I took. I've been waiting for a kit like this for a long time thanks so much Carole for creating the "perfect kit " for me. I may haft to do a whole album with it. Here he is with his mummy buddy in my halloween photo studio. I blended the photo into one of the BG papers using a soft light blending mode and duplicated the dog to make him stand out a little more. Welcome to my garden

Designer and/or kit name only.): For those of you that may have followed my Baby dove layouts, here is another LO in their time with me. The baby doves did fly away on what I thought was the last day I would see them on 9/14; however when I returned from a short vacation I found them again in my yard. For another week in a haft they would return daily to play and eat in my yard and then leave with their parents in the evening. They continued to grow quickly and soon it became difficult to tell them from their parents. They have now gone, but I sure hope they will return next year and make their nest in my garden again. Designer and/or kit name only.): Day 8 started off with thunder,lightening & rain (rare for this area) so their time clocks were a little off and dark rainy skies hampered photo taking alittle. I did see one of the little guys trying out his wings and he actually lifted himself off the nest. I know their departure time is fast approaching with those feathers that just keep growing. Today I caught Dad right after he landed in the nest and the young guys were all over him anxiously waiting for their meal. The Moon Climbs

With all the local fires around and a tropical storm down south the clouds tonight had very unusal colors.
