I pulled some hybrid tricks with this one and printed extra copies of the balloon and the two dinos and added them on pop dots - I was pleased with it. The mother spent most of the day in bed recovering from a migraine, the child spent most of the day playing on the computer. The cats had lots of fun. They found a bag of craft feathers and spread them over the floor. Where did they find them? I�m sure they weren�t lying around. We cleaned them up and put them away in a closed craft tote only to find them spread everywhere yet again!! It wasn�t long before we had the answer. The hole near the handle of the tote is plenty big enough for a cats paw to reach in and drag out a plastic bag! A delayed response to this weeks speedscrap inspiration page 2: http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=333414&ppuser=29334 double page: http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=333413&cat=500&ppuser=29334 text: There was a short introduction before we were loaded onto a bus and driven about 6 minutes to the trenches area of the conservation reserve. The reserve has two beaches one the public can visit and one they can't. This is a private reserve so is solely funded by visitors. It is just 27 acres of a sheep farm that the farmer set aside for the penguins. Of course the penguins are nesting at the moment too so they're not too lively. There is a series of trenches and hides that criss cross the area down to the beach and from the confines of these we could see lots of penguins sitting on their eggs. The last section of the tour was a walk in the open up he hill also looking for penguins. There were 15 breeding pairs last year and they think they're going to have more this year. It was like a penguin soap opera. We saw Brian the oldest penguin at 20 yo who is partnered with Niki who is only 3yo. We were all rather impressed with this then we learnt that last year he was paired with Jess who left him for Bob who is only 16yo. Then there was Doug & Donna, 2 yrs ago Donna ran off with someone else but he disappeared so she's back with Doug again. Penguins have an average lifespan of 8-10 years so there are some pretty old ones in this colony. CAF-E challenge - Urban Decay text: Well it's only a hill really but it definitely felt like a mountain as we climbed the steps to the top. This outing was supposed to be a Scouts challenge with ice-blocks at the top and a sausage sizzle at the end. However, the weather was a bit damp so nobody turned up, not even the scout leaders! We found a pile of completion certificates stuck behind the sign. It was supposed to be �too risky� to hold the event but once we got under the canopy of the bush the ground was barely damp. So, all by ourselves we completed the challenge and helped ourselves to a certificate. Sure wished there'd been an ice-block at the top though. credits: Urban Decay page kit by Nicole Young

The real thing won't have a printed ribbon it will be real though Lauren's bow will probably look better than any bow I tie.:) Watch for a photo in the next few days with the finished article.
