Designer and/or kit name only.): I was lucky to be able to d/l this picture from the web. Journaling reads: The USS New York was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center. It is the fifth in a new class of warship -- designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft. Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite, LA, to cast the ship's bow section. The ship was named to honor the victims of the 9/11 attack and two other sister ships, the Arlington (Pentagon location) and Somerset (Somerset County, PA), are named for the same reason. Mother's Day Tea

The children sang a wonderful Mother's Day song, the teacher read a special story about moms and each child then brought a flower to their mom and sat down with us. We worked on some crafts together and Kaitlynn made Mommy a special necklace & bracelet. After that we had doughnuts, coffee & tea. After the tea was over, the children went outside with the teachers and released the butterflies they watched grow from caterpillers. It was a great day for all. especially the Moms.
