I then selected colors from the various papers in the kit to create colored overlays. 3. Teal BG has a larger version of my photo which I horizontal flipped layered over the top of it set at 35% luminosity. 4. Cropped the Pink Powder and Orange Grunge BGs to create the journaling tags. 5. Resized the �Keep Life Simple� element 6. It wasn�t always that way. In times not long enough ago, black and white together was unthinkable. Our visit to Rankin House brought this point to light for me. Standing atop the hill and looking across the river gave me a new found appreciation of those who came before me and dared to question. It is said the Rankin family helped hundreds on their trek to freedom. It is also the cabin that gave us one of the greatest novels in history, �Uncle Tom�s Cabin�.

In large bowl, beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add oats and raisins; mix well. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.

Summer and Winter will be a little bit sweeter thanks to our picking.

It meant garage sales, a new dress-up outfit for me, and fishing. I can remember Grandma LeVan telling me a story about one sale. She was looking around as was I. I accidently dropped something. Grandma said, ��be careful Grace.� Another shopper heard Grandma and asked me if my name was Grace like hers. Grandma tells me I looked at her with a puzzled face and said, �No. Grace is what you call someone when they drop something.� I don�t remember Grandma saying what the woman�s reaction was to my comment on being Grace. I can still hear her giggle when I think of the story. The moral of this story is be careful when calling someone grace as in less than graceful because there just may be a Grace around.

I absolutely love the entire park, however I do have a soft spot reserved just for the sea lions and walrus. This little guy was willing to strike just about any pose for fish.
