Whew! I finally finished ... sorry to be late! I'm still working on the second page (which will include journaling and the date!) These are my nieces ages 16 and 11 and a shot I got of them while we were all on vacation together over Easter Break. I'm a bit fearful for my sister, their mother, as I cannot imagine how she will keep the boys away! TFL!

Bavin. Also A Painted Wood (recolored) by Samara
Guglar. Doodley brushes sets 1 &2 by Meryl Bartho. Background, brown strip and edge by me.
Fonts: Broken baby, Distress and MA Sexy.

Scraplifted from Keeplearning (Debb). As I looked through Debb's gallery I found so many techniques and ideas to scraplift I started making a list! The overall layout is scraplifted from her Hanging out Here http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com...mp;ppuser=1383.
but I also "borrowed" things I liked from other layouts: I loved the textured paper in Be Great in Act here http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com...mp;ppuser=1383 (though mine looks very different - will just have to buy the kit Debb used!)
and the mixed alpha's in charmed by a Clown here http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com...mp;ppuser=1383 (I sort of stretched the rules of bootcamp a bit ... used one kit but several different alphas! Sorry!) Goodness I still have a LONG list of ideas to try from Debb's gallery even though I only made it about 1/3 of the way through! Bless you Debb for getting me so excited about scrapping again!

CC welcomed and appreciated!

Oh yeah...I would be fearful too...they are gorgeous!! (They remind me a little of President Bush's twin daughters). This layout is amazing and gorgeous too! I just love the way you have so perfectly matched tone and theme both in you choice of kit/colors and journaling & composition to the very hip expressions on their beautiful faces. Really great work my sweet friend. Hugs to you...

What a great layout, so young and fresh for two beautiful ladies, they must be so proud that their Aunt made such a wonderful layout in honour of them, the colours are so for that generation, super work

Great colors and I love the way you have handled what could otherwise be a distracting background. You've added so many neat little touches but without distracting from that great photograph. Very nice.

Okay, am I a total 'ditz' or what? I know I commented on this before, but I don't remember reading those comments....Kim....I love you!!! You are such a blessed encouragement to me! Gosh, I just can't believe you combined so many different elements from different layouts and you came up with one amazing and uniquely original layout of your own. Never underestimate your own talents my sweet friend, because they abound!!

You certainly have a knack for layering. Wasn't it you, not too many months ago, who said you weren't any good at paper-style scrapping. Hmmm...
