I knew the minute I opened Kim's Au Natural kit exactly which picture I wanted to use with it. I knew the rich browns would complement Kayley's skin and hair very nicely and the lacy pressed flowers would be the perfect accent.

I wanted to keep the LO monochromatic but wanted the texture of the gorgeous handmade papers so I used a blend mode on the handmade paper in the center circle to get the fabulous texture onto the brown paper. I also used the burn blend modes on several layers of the pressed flowers to add a border to my background.

Circles are soooo hot right now and Tina's Circles of Nature word art was the perfect way to incorporate them. They really provided the starting point for my whole LO.

The photo of Kayley is simply gorgeous and the latout compliments it so well!
I too love how you used the word art in the cut out circles! Now why didn't I think of that? LOL

BEAUTIFUL!!! What a wonderful photo. Love the interlocking circles and LOVE how you threaded the twigs through the photo. This really has a nice paper scrap feeling to it- which I think is a plus!!

You've done a splendid layout here, I'm lovin' all the natural tones with your daughter's fab photo, the centre almost looks like cork. I like the darkening of the embroidered embellishment too. Is that your handwriting, perfect,

Gorgeous photo -- and you've set it off in a gorgeous page that looks READY TO SCRAPLIFT if you ask me!

The papers layered under (and over!) the dried flowers is my favorite part, I think. It's drop dead gorgeous!
