Marcee Duggar's Paisley Lace Page Kit is the perfect compliment to sepia toned photos, yet neutral enough to compliment color photos as well. I used it along with Valeri Brumfield's Modern Vintage Add-on pack and Stacey Jewell Stahl's Stamp It With Love set to create a warm layout for this photo of Matt in a moment of peaceful sleep.

How I achieved this look:
I adjusted the levels of the lightest colored mat to create the border for the photo, matting it on the wonderfully textured textile from the add-on pack. The photo corner is a portion of the yellow ribbon from the kit. I used the lyrics from Dream a Little Dream of Me by the great Louis Armstrong over the yellow grunge paper which I "tore" using an eraser and blending modes. I repeated one verse of the song, which my son and I sing at bedtime, as my journaling. The lace ribbon with metal clasp is the perfect place to hang a tag or two... the tags are from the add-on pack and the lighter ones were created using a clipping mask and the yellow grunge paper as well as Stacey's gorgeous stamp set. I added the square brad to give it a more "clipped together" look.

I love these dsp products... I think they'll find a lot of use on my pages. Versatile, beautiful... what digital scrapbooking is all about.

I love this. I simply love (love love love) this layout. The lyrics on the torn papers is just such an AWESOME way to "tuck" him in and my new favorite "touch"! Perfect. The lace ribbon with the dangling tags that you personalized is super! The tags look like thin wood slices and compliment the feel of this layout so darn well. The photo of course is the BEST centerpiece, but wow did you do it justice with all of the above layout details. Just a gorgeous, soothing piece of work here. I am applauding WILDLY all the way from Ohio!!! BRAVO!!!

Don't children look precious when they're asleep!? This is a beautiful layout, very masculine, even with the lace. Great job!

Love it...amazing...whatelse can I say! The quote is perfect and love the layering of everything on the lo. The colour tones of the photo are great and really work with the kit. I also like your triple tag to the left of the photo. Good Luck!

This is adorable, cute photo and love the words. This LO has great texture, and I like the way you've used the lace and tags together. I just noticed your ribbon photo corner - clever. Good luck.
