My third attempt. I took all of the advice on the black mat by making it smaller and also about the torn edge covering her hands. I made that go much farther down and put it at less of an angle. I also fixed my boo-boo with the journaling from the previous one. So far I am begining to like this LO more and more with the little tips I've been given.

Oh wow, I love it now. You did a great job. I think it's finalized.

Beautiful work - my only suggestion would be to put the word 'daddy' onto the last line with 'arms' - sort of a finale!

Ah - this is gorgeous! That main photo is spectacular. And all your details are supporting it. I like the color of the word art, and the font for the journaling, and I really like how the smaller photo is turning out.

Here's the biggest thing that's catching my attention. Any possibility of rotating the main photo so the horizon is straight? Or does that throw off the position of dad & daughter?

I'd either make the word art a little smaller, or move it down so it doesn't overlap the horizon. And I'd add the date.

But this is, as I said, gorgeous!

Have to agree...doing a great job. The photos are simply heartwarming. I love the movement of the corner with her hands....kind of makes it look like she's right at the edge of the water. Cool effect. I have to second the photo straightening-didn't notice til it was pointed out but that would definitely put it over the top! NIce Job!

I agree with Kristen... I recently went to the beach and have to fix all my ocean horizens! I just use a "straighten picture" button where you choose a line that is to be straight. Works like a charm. Great LO.
