This is for my mother....the most influental woman in my life...from the letter I wrote to her on Mother's Day (it made her cry) and photos I took of her the same day.



Journaling reads:



Dear Mom,



Through all the years of your love and caring, I never tell you enough how much you mean to me and how much I love you.



From childhood to adulthood, you have always been there to love and support me. Sometimes, I know I didn't deserve it, but I learned about unconditional love for my own children from you.



After having children of my own, I realize that it must not have been easy for you with four to take care of! As the oldest child, I had to learn to do a lot for myself and took you for granted more than I should have. Most of my most vivid memories are all the times you were there for me when I needed you most...when I cut my wrist...when I fell off my bike...when I started my first period...first dates...homecoming dances..nightmares...Other things I remember are the weenie roasts, your blonde hair days, the reversible jumpers you made for us, you and Dad going to dances, camping, and your Chanel #5!



Once I had children of my own, I realized how deeply feeling for your children run, and you were there for me then too. You were there for me through all the good times and hard times through my marriage and raising of chilren, always even if just a phone call away. No one else ever calls me and sings Happy Birthday to me every year!



I can never repay you for being there for me through all the years, and although I say it all the time, I will always continue to say it...I love you, Mom, with all my heart. You are the world to me!
