Our Lounge for Ann Maree's Preserving Everyday challenge.

Tina's backpack is just gorgeous and I don't think the preview in the shop really does it justice... you'll just have to buy it and use it.

I've continued with my album theme of using Kim's fabulous 3 in a row QC (rotated this time).

Jounalling reads:
"It would be wonderful to have a formal, tidy lounge, but let’s just face it, in our household it’s never going to happen.

Our lounge is for watching TV and the kid’s DVD’s and videos far outnumber any for adults; listening to music; for the kids to play in (hence the toy cupboard and the attempt at being tidy using boxes) and for them to stage shows in; for reading lots of books from home and the library.

The lounge suite came from David Shaw where Stu used to work and was covered in the strongest most child friendly fabric we could find.

We must get round to putting some pictures on the wall."

Glad to see another "lounge". Yes it is strange to think I'm looking at tomorrow, as you pointed out in the forum These colours are unusual and bring a creative look to the LO- they work really well. When DD was young, there wouldn't have been stepping space on our floor!
Happy New Year.

Your lounge is lovely! These colours are perfect for your photos, too. Super job!

I agree your lounge is lovely! I like the paper colors you used. Nicely done.

Why don't you print and frame some of your favorite layouts to put on your wall. This one would be a great start. The colors already work well with your room.

Well at least your toys are actually in the boxes! Amazing how kids just completely take over the home isn't it. I like Karen's idea to print your LOs for the walls. We've bought several prints over the years but they're all still waiting to be framed! LOL!
Great page.
