Working with old photos is never easy - these were very mixed shades! Doing this brought back wonderful memories of a very special day!

Such a lovely page to remind you of this day. The photos certainly aren't mixed shades after you waved your magic wand over them. I love the various elements you made for this kit- such beautiful colours in the grapes. Are you going to do another LO to show all the other bits and pieces?

Beautiful job Meryl - the original was not bad at all (we were all new to this art form then!), but this is awesome!!

Definitely better second time around, but I agree with you always keep the first ones as they do indeed tell how we have improved. I always (or nearly always) print my LO's and when I look back on the early ones they do look very samey. Only just learning how to do them and what Serif Page Plus could do (Still learning even now).

Well that is a Big difference-I love it Meryl! I have pictures of my Mom from her First Communion-I'm going to have to get this kit to scrap those memories. Somehow Mom can't find pictures of my First Communion but I remember it just like it was yesterday. I can't wait for dd's in a few years!

this is so...hmmmm, holy! little bride meryl....so mature and serious too. did your mom cut your hair? my mom cut hair like that...i escaped...my sis jo...she did not escape. to this day jo can sit on her hair because mom would give her the old soup bowl cut....and, one thing...mom would curl jo's.pin curls we called them ..so i called her bozo. i was a fast runner when i was small. your hair, lucky for you...was not curled for this occasion...i think your dress is lovely...and the other girls had lovely dresses too...and is that your mom and sis.....your iss looks so much like i remember special times at church...hat, gloves...lovely to. what a wonderful memory and fabulous that you have the photos for it. this kit is beautiful and so is the addon....love it all. i mentioned in chat....we dont do a formal first communion...(i am a heathen. lol) we do sunday school and we do communion, and we do baptisms...but few phtos for me of those times...i will find one that is just right tho for these kits. your layout is inspiring and lovely
