Inducted into the Hall of Fame by Beth Nixon:
Some of the students in the journaling class brought this layout to my attention for an example of a fantastic interview style layout. The moment I saw it, I was just blown away. She captured SO much in this layout. From a memory from long ago, to the humor in it still today. Plus, it's designed beautifully!! The little birdie is a PERFECT touch! A true hall of fame layout!!

I swear, my brothers were both over 50 years old when I interviewed them for this story and I am quoting exactly. It was hilarious to hear them tell it with nearly the same emotion they had at the time. The little chicken is a quote from my sister who was listening to the interview.

This is CLASSIC! You say they are over 50 and yet it sounds, word for word, like my six and eight year old having this chat. This is wonderful....talk about preserving the memory!

I'm still laughing--what a great way to use those filmstrips. Neat way to tell a neat family story.

congrats on this one maureen...it is quite a story and perspective makes it entertaining...but, oh my goodness....how gruesome at the time. really great that you used the film strip to tell the tale.
