I have this amazing collection of old post card photographs, letters and memoirs from my grandfather's time in the RAF during WW1. This is just a small part of them. You might be able to see in the photos that these soldiers are wearing kilts.
Journaling reads:
These are
just a few of
the many pages of
journaling, photos
and letters from my
grandfather's memoirs
of his days in the Canadian
RAF. Most of it is full of
everyday military life; however,
there are glimpses into his
personal life, such as his parents
asking him not to join the RAF.
These are photos of his friends,
most of them dated around l9l6.

I would give anything to have a journal written by an ancestor - to read about how they lived and what they thought about. Sounds like you could do a whole book of these wonderful layouts.

You are so fortunate to have all of this, Gail. And you have scrapped this perfectly. The kits you chose to use with Meryl's are perfect. Wonderful job!
