WHITE GRUNGE OVERLAY JANUARY 08 CLUB DIGITAL byTina Chambers THOUGHT PROGRESS. Background- wanted an earthy outdoors look, subtle, colorful but not detract from animals or overwhelm spots of color. Turned both boys facing into the animals. Added a light diffuse glow to meerkats photo to bring it out just a bit more. Added pattern overlay to frames for more "woodsy" look.

I think this is a great start - youve clearly read the notes and having the animals and children facing into the layout is a great idea - right now my eye is drawn directly to the journalling though because you have it on a different colour - and really the journalling is the least important part of this layout
Perhaps you could give more emphasis to some of the photos by adding some 3d embellishments like brads in a few corners
