I've been having soooo much fun photographing the bluebirds. The babies fledged yesterday, so no more photographing them....but I have a zillion photos already! :-) What they eat and what great parents they are really surprised me. Me thinks there may be many human parents that don't do as well :-)



The journaling reads: "

Watching the bluebird parents was very inspirational. They worked all day long, flying back and forth, feeding their babies. The telephoto lens on my camera allowed me to see the variety of food they caught. They often (especially the female) brought more than one insect at a time. We think of lions and tigers as ferocious animals who hunt and kill their prey. We think of bluebirds as sweet little birds with musical, bell-like songs. Still, if I were a bug, I think I would greatly fear the ferocious bluebird hunter."
