JOURNALING: The dare-devil lady at the top is my paternal grandmother, Katie. We can be sure that this is one of the Great Lakes shorelines, but which? Next to Grandma is her dear friend Mildred, probably with her husband, Will. The other lady? No idea. Maybe Grandpa Gus was taking the photo. They were neighbors in Adrian, Michigan. Probably before my dad was born in 1907

long dresses, vest, bowler hats....so pleased that now adays we don't wear all this to the beach...but with the amount of skin cancer around maybe they had the right idea!!! love the ribbons under your photo!
