I scanned at 400dpi) and cleaned up every one of these photos from 1906, then I added the overlays from Meryl Bartho aging them again.

JOURNALING: Mother's Uncle Charles was working in the governor's office in Manila in the Philippines in 1906-1908. He sent a post card and note with photos to Mother's older brother, Sid. The top photo says "My House" on the back. The next one says it is his office. The saying is hand lettered. How beautiful.

LL, to have these momentos is exquisitely special; I so admire you! My father was stationed in the Phillipines in the mid 40's and I have absolutely nothing. I know at one time there was a cedar chest of things, but where they went is a great mystery. Your cleaning up of these photos and memorabalia and then making them old again in inspired! Now you have both versions. What a beautiful page you've done!!!
