This is why I love Photoshop! You can take a lousy photo that would have otherwise been trash and make something out of it. The photo is of DH and Ian and was taken after dark, was out of focus and blurry. For this page, I used Nicole Young's Heaven Sent Page Kit which is just adorable!

Edit: I had a few people ask how I made the lousy photo useable so here it is:

First, I converted it to B/W, then adjusted the brightness/contrast (Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast). In my LO, the photo is on 2 layers. The top one is cropped to the shape of the frame. The bottom one is clipped with the brushed on quick bits. The Quick bit is converted to white and the opacity reduced to around 40%.

Other Supplies Used:

Angel Whispers 2 Page Kit by Nicole Young (heart word art)

Storybook Dreams Page Kit by Nicole Young (winged heart)

Brushed On Quick Bits by Lauren Bavin

love the kit and used it a few days ago. It's so versatile as you can see from your layout. Beautifully scrapped, Heather. And I do love the photo. I must remember to take some more from the back, lol.

Well, it certainly worked, you have taken something 'unusable' and created a wonderfully moving layout.
