The only change i would make is to the journalling - It may just be me but I prefer journalling to break where it naturally does - so I would put the but on the last line

I like this one a lot. I think the addition of the journalling strengthens it. My only suggestion would be to make the stitching on the top left go horizontal rather than vertical - to point the way to the main part of the layout and to add some variety. See if you think it makes a difference
