**Scrappy Awards Nominee** Best Graphic LO

Credits:
Aged Canvas BP by Lauren Bavin.
Cutting Room Floor Overlay Stacks by Nicole Young.
Reminiscences Overlay Stacks by Tina Chambers.
Inspirational Word Art Set2 by Tina Chambers.

My friend sent me this photo of her son at soccer practice. There were a lot of people and children in the background that I had to remove so the blending really helps to hide my not so perfect work. Here is a link to the before and after shots.

This was supposed to be for the Cross Processing Graphically Challenge. But when I did the process it turned the sky a very pretty pink but I felt it did not fit this photo. So I changed each red, green and blue channel individually to get more a yellow tone. I also used the levels and brightness/contrast to try to get more of the overexposure and dark shadows. I don't think this is really what a Cross Processing photo looks like although I have only seen the one in Robyn's tutorial. But I liked how this one turned out so am posting it anyway. I will try again on another photo later. The Cross Processing Tutorial can be found here.

I love the photo treatment here! Whatever you did really makes him pop! And I can't see anywhere you took the others out! Never would have known if you hadn't said anything! Love this!

Wonderful photo treatment on this page. The blending, extraction and texture mixed with the warm tones is fantastic. Love the pose.

FABULOUS! you have the cross processing technique SPOT on. It doesn't have to look the same as the tutorial as the key thing with traditional cross processing is that the results are unpredictable. You have done a great job of it! Fabulous layout and great job with the tutorial!

I cant tell where you removed anything... I have always been afraid to alter photos- but what you have done here has created such a feel or mood... your explanation is a little over my head... but your results are just stunning... I think I will not be so afraid to play and alter in the future.

Ditto what everyone else said. I'm especially impressed with the quality of your background after removing people. I didn't realize you had done that at all. After the number of hours I've spent being "official" photographer at DGK's sporting events, I thought you must have taken a picture of the empty field, extracted the player, and then blended and I was impressed with THAT idea. This is just amazing!
