On this version I moved the word art down to the bottom and enlarged the photo per Sharon's suggestions. I think she's right. I think this version works better. It goes against my nature to do things like layer word art on top of a photo. I tend to think in very black and white terms, very organized, but when I try something that goes against what I originally thought, it usually works great, I just have to make myself think differently than what is normal for me.

Oh, Rene, I know exactly how you feel. I can hardly ever get myself out of the *box*. Shazzt was right, though; the WA looks awesome at the bottom You're both such lovely ladies, by the way! Super page!!!

I can totally understand about thinking against how you normally do. It can be hard to do at times. But I do like the WA at the bottom. And that is such a beautiful photo it should be as large as the LO allows. Beautiful job!

The way I look at it, is the wordart is on a part of the photo that isn't all that important - their faces and hands probably are would look weird with stuff written on top of it. The bottom of the dress is just more white - providing a non distracting base for your wordart. I think this looks awesome!

I think this is perfect - I agree with Sharon that the word art is the least important feature of this layout and there fore should be where it doesnt distract from the photo
