How darling I like the swirleys and the blue background really picks up the blue in her outfit. The gold star helps set off the blue. I like how the grayish background isolates Semoye and allows the photo to pop

Loving your changes, and that photo is adorable.
My cc is that my eye keeps being pulled to the bottom of the photo and the star. I would either move the brown strip further up or down away from the photo, and I would enlarge the bottom star so that the point of the star doesn't kiss the edge of the photo.

oh this is cute and you've done a great job adapting the kit for your photo. I think that there might be a better flow to the layout if you flipped the photo to the left. This way it would open up the layout more.

Great improvements with the smaller font! I agree with Sands...the big star is kind of overpowering...maybe try swapping it to the left of the photo, sliding everything over a bit, and reattaching the smaller stars on the right...just essentially flipping the elements, really. It may help with the flow of the layout....or maybe not.  Just an idea.
It's really looking wonderful though. I can't get over that cute photo!
