Ok, here is revision 5. I moved the WA element down by the photo, and I do think I like it better there. But now, does it look like there is too much "open" space above?

I don't think there's too much space, but if you have that feeling, something you might try is to put a small border around the layout to sort of "contain" it. Maybe just a tiny thin red line all the way around.

Also, do you have a shadow under the photo and the brown mat? I think you have a small one under the red mat, but you should have one under those other two layers as well.

Hope this helps.

I don't feel like their's too much open space here, but you could do like neko said if you want a border. I am drawn to the two sets of wordart on the same side/corner.
This is such a beautiful picture and the framing you've done is spectacular, ......hmmmmm, are you sure you need the "adore"? (you could just look at it on your computer without the adore and see how you feel. That's the beauty of digital, you can move, resize and hide things to your hearts content.

I love this version, I dont think there is too much space, but like the idea to give it a thin border to hold it all together, see if you like it better with that. Adorable photo!

I personally love open space, so don't feel you have to fill the page. I love the placement of the wordart too.

It is interesting to come along rather late in this process and see the interactive development of your layout.
