Toffee Crunch Cookies were my dads Christmas Cookies. He found this recipe in a magazine and Mom copied it for him. He'd always make them at Christmas along with the Irish Fruit Bread from my grandmothers recipe.
Dad truly baked us sweet memories. We have his recipes but miss his special touch and his smile when he'd say "Take Two, They're Small" (His weren't - as mom noted when she underlined (Maybe) after the 3 doz. cookies.
