When I am not taking care of my family or scrapping at the computer, I sew things for my family (or mend lots of things) on my mom's old sewing machine. It's almost as old as me, it's sturdy, but I call it affectionaly "the tractor", because it only like thick fabrics and will chew up anything thinner and it has a will on it's own and only goes fast. I hope one day to have a good machine, one that would actually sew nicely. But till then, this one has to be my friend....

I should use your idea for a photo, I do sew - patchwork and more - love your machine even thoug itīs not doing everything you want, itīs just so nice to have things like this.

That's awesome. You're sewing machine has "character". That's a great picture and I like how the thread and attachments are in the background.
My Mom still has her machine that she sewed my clothes on, I have one that I think of as new, but I bought it 28 years ago...lol. And they really never change, mine threads just like my Mom's did, and how it looks like your's does..

Oh, I do have an even older one - my grandmosther's Singer from 1919! It sews, but the tension is messed up. It's foot operated. I will have to take a picture of it tommorrow.
